Project leadership that understands every signal and acts decisively.

Interim Management

Complex initiatives need someone who brings all perspectives together, sets clear priorities and aligns the team around a shared goal. Not more meetings and stronger escalation, but decisions that are prepared, aligned and driven through.

What it is about

Fast results, with a view of the full picture and an eye for the details that matter.

Contrary to the prevailing view, IT projects do not always fail for the same reasons. Conversations with everyone involved and solid data provide real insight into the actual project situation. That way, results and improvements come quickly.
When your project needs an experienced hand

Entrepreneurial responsibility, not just project responsibility.

Before becoming an independent consultant, I was a manager and managing director at IT consultancies. During that time, I built a branch office from two people to over 70, with responsibility for growth, headcount, sales and financial results.

Since founding Nathe Consulting in 2024, I bring exactly that experience to my interim management mandates, in addition to my project management and IT skills.

That was not project responsibility, but entrepreneurial responsibility.

Bridging Business and IT

Real progress lies in the quality of the model's results.

In a machine-learning project, the business team asks about progress. The correct answer is not “Sprint 7 is complete”; it is the model’s F1 score and the feedback from key users. Real progress in an ML project does not lie in working through backlog items, but in the quality of the model’s results.

Making that connection between what the business needs and what the technology actually delivers is the real task.

If you only speak one side's language, you cannot translate. I speak both.

Complex Delivery Structures

Identify delays early and resolve them across contract layers.

The initiative has a statutory deadline that is not negotiable. On the delivery side: internal IT, a prime contractor, several subcontractors operating under different contract models, and external partner organisations with priorities of their own. When a critical interface is not delivered as agreed, this is not a technical problem, but a coordination problem across contract layers.

Complex delivery structures need someone who can assess and optimise them independently and identify delays early. Implementing the right delivery model, whether a service agreement or an agile outcome-based contract, sets the right course for success.

Not a technical problem, but a coordination problem across contract layers.

Entrepreneurial Thinking

Mission-critical means more than high availability.

An internationally active film rights trading company needs a system to manage its contract landscape. Requirements defined, architecture in place, technically everything on track.

Then, in a conversation with the executive team, one sentence shifts everything: the company trades licences daily, time windows, territories, exploitation rights. What is needed is not a document management system, but the operational core of the entire business model. One wrong piece of information or one delay costs real deals.

Those who cannot do this deliver technology. Those who can are a real partner.
